Home-made beer advent calendar

My Home-Made Craft Beer Advent Calendar

It was just another Thursday morning. I awoke about 7:30am, chucked on some relatively clean clothes, shuffled off to the bathroom, relieved myself, washed my hands, then went into the kitchen to make some breakfast. When I opened the fridge to get some milk for my cereal, however, I was shocked to see that Mrs Best Beer HQ had filled it with two-dozen individually wrapped bottles of beer.

Well, I technically didn’t know it was beer until she told me what it was: a home-made craft beer advent calendar!

If ever Mrs Best Beer HQ deserved a medal – and she should seriously be awarded the Victoria Cross for putting up with my grumpy ass for the last decade or so – it was for this. My birthday is on 18 December, but obviously, this is a birthday gift that’s going to keep giving right up until Christmas Eve.

Until then, I’ll list all the different beers I unwrap here. She’s not a craft beer aficionado, and I’m almost certain she picked these all out herself, so it’ll be doubly interesting to see what I get.
